A long-time Fawn & Thistle stockist, Berylune is a treasure trove of joyful finds. Think colourful stationery, retro homewares, indie art prints and lots of paper goods you didn’t know you needed. It’s the kind of place where you go in for a card and leave with a basket full of happy things.
2. Papersmiths – London & Bristol
A design-lover’s dream, Papersmiths stocks high-end notebooks, artful pens, and beautifully curated tools for thinkers and makers. Their shops are gorgeously designed, and everything feels considered — from the layout to the paper textures.
3. Choosing Keeping – London
For the true stationery obsessive. Choosing Keeping feels like stepping into a 1930s paper emporium, with artisan pencils, niche inks, and Japanese notebooks galore. It’s luxurious, tactile, and one of the best in the game.
4. The Hambledon – Winchester
Technically a lifestyle store, but their stationery section is a real highlight. They stock a curated mix of British and international designers, and the whole shop is filled with that ‘I want everything in here’ energy.
5. Deptford Does Art – London
A brilliant independent shop in South East London, Deptford Does Art showcases work from a range of UK-based artists and designers. Well worth a visit if you’re in the area.
6. Fred Aldous – Manchester & Leeds
A creative institution! Fred Aldous is part art supply shop, part stationery store, and part inspiration hub. From sketchbooks to letterpress cards, it’s a must-visit if you're anywhere nearby.
7. Present & Correct – London
Minimalist, nostalgic and curated to perfection. Present & Correct specialises in stationery with a vintage twist — think graph paper, old-school French notebooks, and pleasingly geometric rulers. A visual treat.
8. The Journal Shop – Online
The Journal Shop stocks some of the best brands in global stationery, with a focus on Japanese and Korean design. From functional planners to sleek pens and organisational tools, this is a must-visit for anyone who loves practical beauty.
9. Objectables – Folkestone
Cheeky, bold, and full of attitude — Objectables is a brilliant indie shop known for their funny cards, quirky gifts, and design-led stationery. It’s loud, proud and packed with personality (and yes, some of our cards too!).

A vibrant lifestyle shop by the sea. Roo’s Beach is bursting with joyful colour, bold prints and dreamy gifts — their stationery selection is full of fun, playful finds.
